Where do you put your money these days?  This issue is always a source of discussion amongst friends and clients.  It seems everyone is dissatisfied with returns and volatility.

HERE is an interesting article from Wilf Hahn arguing that equities may sharply outperform bonds over the next several years and that it may be a good time to jump back into the market.

Note: we are not in the investment business and have no professional view on specific investments.  Having said that, it is difficult for us to imagine a sustained improvement in equities starting anytime soon.  Factors such as the upcoming US election, continued lack of access to capital for medium and small business in the US and sagging Asian demand for commodities all lead us to believe a lot would have to change before equities improve.
